I remember Mary from my dear beloved cousin, Fr. John Kobus. He would invite me to many of the St. Mary silent auctions and fashion shows and his own gatherings. It was there that I met Mary. I am sorry we were not in town to show our respect to such a wonderful lady.
Your mother was one of the strongest ladies I have ever met, with a wonderful warm and welcoming way about her. I shall never forget her mischievous smile and sense of humor.
