Not sure what to say?

I was a very dear friend and classmate of Dr. Luongo at New York Chiropractic College (class of 1984). Although I lost touch with her over the last several years, I never forgot about her. While doing a recent search, so I could wish her a happy birthday, I was shocked and saddened to stumble onto her obituary. My sincerest condolences to the Luongo family. Rest in peace, Mare.

Dr. Luongo you were such a great person with great intuitions! I am so sorry to hear about your passing! Please accept our prayers and rest in peace!

I was so shocked and saddened to hear of Dr. Luongo's passing. I was a student of hers at Dover business college ( Berkely) and I had nothing but the utmost respect for her as a professor and human being. May God bless your soul and comfort the loved ones you have left behind . I am truly broken hearted but I know you are in heaven smiling down on everyone.

Antoinette, Dottie, Tony & family, I was shocked to hear of the passing of Mary Ann. My deepest condolences for the family during this difficult time. Heaven has gained another angel.

Dr. Luongo, you were my most favorite professor. I've had you numerous times for different classes and you were like a mother to me. Always pushing me and giving me the confidence i needed. Always smiling at me and saying 'hiya sweetie how's it going?' Im going to miss you very much, see your smile, hearing your lovely voice. When news came to me, i stood in silence and teared because this was not supposed to happen. You will be missed very very much. God gained a precious angel. God bless you.

Mary Ann Luongo worked for me as a faculty member. She was sincere, loving and authentic. She had a great sense of humor and loved her students. She called them sweetie. Her big crooked smile and that big Bayonne accent made me laugh every time we spoke. She was especially loving to me when my mom died last year. I am deeply saddened by her loss.
