I am so sorry for your loss. I remember many fond memories growing up with your mom. Her laugh was contagious and her love was sincere. Your mom was an amazing person and was loved by so many. Please know that she will forever be remembered fondly.

I grew up knowing Mrs. Mahaffey very well...she gave me wonderful advice in the back of her shop many, many afternoons...I LOVED her stories about her life and her children...I always left the shop feeling loved, appreciated and honored that someone outside of my family cared about me and what I was doing in life...always looked forward to our next visit...It was a blessing to know such a kind, caring and unique person!! So many great memories of growing up with Polly and Sally. Many years have passed, sadly, and touch was lost. I am so sorry to learn of Polly's passing. To Sally and the entire family, my deepest wishes for peace and know that Sally was loved by many in Athens, GA.
