Not sure what to say?

Dear Dottie,

Mary personified a deep humanity and Christianity that is rare these days. She was very worldy too, in a reserved way, and she had a special connection to San Francisco, where she - at one point in her career - looked after your Aunt (also a pioneering Army nurse, I believe?). I have many fond memories of her. My sincere condolences to you and the family.

Dear Dottie, Bob and Linda,
Mary will be missed not only by her family, but by the many friends she had in the Worcester area as well as throughout the world. She had a remarkable way of staying in touch with so many people.
We are sorry for your loss.

Dot, Bob and Linda,

I was so sorry to hear about Mary. She was quite a remarkable woman. My thoughts are with you.
