Not sure what to say?

With sadness I have just learned of Dr. Maleski's death. As noted by others she was an exceptional teacher and person. As her student in the early 80s it was her passion for learning and delving into the complexities of medieval literature as informed by the historical and religious contexts that has shaped my thinking ever since.

I'm so sad to learn of Dr. Maleski's passing. She was my favorite professor when I attended Le Moyne in the 80s. After taking her Medieval English Literature class, I was so hooked I had to take Chaucer and The Arthurian Legend as well. She was a brilliant teacher and scholar, and an amazing person. I learned so much from her. Her excitement and passion for medieval literature - and life - was contagious. My deepest sympathies to her family and friends.

With deepest sympathies and many fond memories. May she rest in Peace.

Dr. Maleski was one of my favorite professors at LeMoyne. Her enthusiasm was apparent in every class she taught. I loved every one of her classes, most especially Chaucer when she would read passages in old English. Not only was she enthusiastic and energetic but she was an exceptional educator. My sincere sympathy to her family.

I was so sorry to learn of Mary's passing. She gave me a warm welcome to the Le Moyne College English Department when I began teaching here in 1988. She was a fine teacher, colleague, and scholar, and will be much missed. My heartfelt sympathy all, especially to her sister and husband.

Please accept the most heartfelt sympathies of Le Moyne College. We hope the love and memories that you will forever hold in your heart bring you peace and comfort during this difficult time.
