I cannot express how very sad I am to hear that Marie has passed away. She was the center of our friendship and steadfast when one of us was in need of comfort. Though time and distance have passed since our last meeting, she was always in our memories and in the laughter that was a gift she gave. She was a rare hero- always put others before herself.
