Not sure what to say?

Hank, my heart goes out to you. Praying for you. Please take care of yourself.

I am so very sorry for your loss. I was on the PTO board at HCJ in York when Dr. Ligon took the reigns. She was a delight to work with, very open-minded. I went to high school in that building from 1969-1972 and was very familiar with the building. As I went to meet Dr. Ligon for the first time, the first thing I noticed when I walked into the front door was how "shiny" and clean everything was and how it did not smell as I remember. It was the detail that made her special and thankful...

Mary Ann and Hank, your mama was an angel to our entire family. We loved her almost as much as you all did,and we were only next door neighbors... but claimed kindship, too!

It's heartbreaking. She was my first grade teacher in 1958 at Oakdale Elementary School. After all these years I remember her as though it were yesterday. With the enormous awesome affect I remember she had on my life I can't even imagine the number & amount of people she affected with her awesome being as a person, not to mention educator!! As now...I will always treasure the memories of her as my first grade teacher. My thoughts are definitely with the family.

Mary Anne and Hank, my heartfelt prayers are lifted up for you and your families. I thought the world of your Mom and she will be sorely missed by all who had the good fortune to know her.

I am so sorry about Mary Jean. I was her secretary at HCJES during her time as principal and she and I became good friends. I loved her so much and I got to know your dad, Bill Ligon, during that time also. She will be greatly missed. Praying for your family during this difficult time.

Hank,
I am so terribly sorry to hear the news of your mom's passing. May the memories you have guide you through this time of hurt.

With deep felt sympathy,
Michaela

Our family is so heart broken. We loved Mary Jean very much. My Mom Jeannette loved her dearly too and considered her a dear friend. Our hearts are heavy, may God bless you all.
