Not sure what to say?

While we are in quarantine we are sorting through old photos. Forgot how many memories we shared. They still bring a smile to my heart. Miss you still my dear and all your great advice.

Dearest Maryann
You had a wonderful mother! She was an inspiration to all of us on Friday afternoons, always had a smile on her face and ready to "GO"!! She set a perfect example for all of us: "Life is good!" Not to mention, she was "sharp as a tack" playing those cards. (Be sure to send her off with a deck :) There's a foursome going on right now with her, Phyllis, Gertrude and Celeste!! I will really miss her and her love for snack food! She has prayed for so many people. Now we...

Nuna,

You will be missed beyond words, but our love and adoration for you will never die. We love you dearly!

James, Stephanie, Vincent, Mason, & Amelia Barletta

Big Nana, You will always be in our hearts. You loved us, you fed us, and you were always there for us. You lived your life joyfully. What a wonderful gift you were to us all. Love, Ralph, Sandy, Keith & Blake Barletta

My Mother's Guest Book would not be complete without a copy of the lovely, commemorative poem, written by her loving granddaughter, JEANMARIE HASIAK (my beautiful daughter and my best friend) ...and read by Jeanmarie at the beginning of the Mass:

MY NUNA
A sister, a mother, Aunt Mary to some...
Big Nana ... or my NUNA to me...
She's called all those names, so we all had to come...
For a woman, as precious as she.
With always a smile, and a red "Nuna"...

My mother's funeral was held on Saturday, March 24th ... and it could not have been more beautiful ... her memory was honored by all of the people she loved ... her family, her friends, and her beloved pastor, Fr. John Paladino ... and I want to thank each of you for the love you showed my mother during her life ... and in her death. I also want to thank everyone at Rossi Funeral, who made an extremely, sad day, much easier to bear ... Bernadette and Julie and Jason ... could not have...

Dear Maryann and Family, my deepest sympathy in the loss of your mother. I have fond memories of time spent with her through the years. Thank you for calling me and letting me know of her passing.

Maryann, Your mother lived a full and active life. It will be a great loss, but one that we will all help sharing with you.
