Not sure what to say?

What a beautiful tribute to your mother, Bruce. I wish Gary and I could have had a chance to meet her. You and your family have lovely memories of Mary to cherish forever.
Much love,
Gary and Sheryl Kretchmer

Mary was able to capture the beauty of the world with her beautiful pastels. A gift she shared with everyone. I will never forget the painting trip to Ghost Ranch with Mary and several other ladies from Robert Vaughn's class. Memories of laughter and good friends to treasure always. Mary's love of all things beautiful will endure in the art work she created.

Mary Mayfield, October 2011 art show with her painting

Mary's beautiful pastels have always been such a delight to see, as has been their artistic creator. My memories of Mary are from some years ago in Greater KC Art Association and Images Art Gallery. I am thankful that art brought us together for those years.

I am sure Mary is at this very moment, painting the full colored spectrum of heavens hills and quite streams in fields of lasting joy and peace. May that same peace, God's peace, consume and comfort her family in these hours of sorrow.

Mary was a dedicated, respected artist. She will be missed by the Kansas City art community. Our deepest sympathies to her family.

Peggy, what a great lady your mom was. She lived a full life and brought much joy to those around her through her creativity and art and kind spirit. I am so glad that I got to know Mary during those times I would visit you and Bill over the years. My deepest condolences to you, Bill and the family.

Please accept our deepest sympathies.
