Mary will always be a part of my best childhood memories. Every day that I played outside, my late mother could count on her to watch over me from her porch. She loved my mom's rice and gandules and they were very close friends. Mary was with my family through the good and the bad. I have very loving memories of her and will cherish these always. I am sorry that I could not be with the family at the funeral but it was a bit too emotional for me. I know that she is now in God's hands along...
