Died Aug. 26, 2004 Mary Diane Hughey McCartney died Aug. 26. She is survived by her daughter, Shelby Adaline McCartney; son, William Frazier McCartney III; and granddaughter, Emily Shea McCartney. Her ashes will be scattered in the Atlantic Ocean next to Vero Beach, Fla.
