McCUE, Mary "Carol" 81, of Dublin, OH (formerly of N. Andover and Reading, MA) died on Dec. 27th, 2010. Carol was born to the late Patrick and Eileen Fulton of Reading, MA. Carol was a kind and giving person who worked for the Reading School system helping disabled children. She was a fantastic baker and enjoyed time with her childhood friends and her social "club." She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Larry McCue, who died 3 months ago and after 53 years of marriage, and also her sister, Eleanor Foye of Fla. Carol is survived by her 5 sons: Kevin & his wife Maureen who were blessed to have her live with them as she dispensed her sage advice and great humor until her illness required more care. Her other sons include Lawrence Jr. & his wife Maria of CA., Peter of NH., Robert of CO., and Brian of MA. Carol had a love for word games, trivia and educating, which she loved to do with her 6 grandchildren, especially Ella, daughter of Kevin & Maureen. Ella loved to make drawings, read & spell words with her grandma. She is also survived by her beloved sister, Lois Cormier of Fla., with whom she talked frequently & right up until her death. Visitation will be at St. Athanasius Church, Reading, on Sat., Jan 15th at 10:30am with a Mass to follow at 11am. Funeral procession will follow immediately to Forest Glen Cemetery in Reading. In lieu of flowers please make a donation to Susan G. Komen for the Cure or to St. Jude's Childrens Hospital. For information and online guest book visit johnbdougassfuneralhome.com. Arrangements under the direction of the Douglass, Edgerley and Bessom Funeral Home, READING.

Not sure what to say?

Larry and Maria -

How Nikki and I wish we could take the sorrow away with a hug, a kind word or a prayer. Just know that our prayers are with your parents and our love will always be with you. I saw this Irish Blessing and wanted to include it with our condolences.....

"Longing For One More Day When we lose someone we love it seems that time stands still. What moves through us is a silence... a quiet sadness... A longing for one more day... one more word... one more...

Larry, Maria & McCue Family - Our thoughts and prayers are with you during the most difficult of times. The Huebner's understand the beauty and wonderful spirit of your parents, because of the values and lessons they passed onto their children. What a great honor it is to be able to continue to share your parents values with those you touch daily. All of our love, The Huebner's

Donna Zanni Washburn and the Zanni family

McCue Family,
Your parents were wonderful people and so generous. I still remember when they moved to North Andover so their son,Peter, could live in the house in Reading with his friend and kids rent free ~~so generous!
We met them in N. Andover and were sad to see them leave and we miss Carol at the clubhouse, but they were moving to be closer to family and that is most important.
God Bless you all.

Larry, Peter, Kevin, Bob and Brian,

My thought and prayers are with all of you during this difficult time.

Natalie Morris
