Mary used to bring communion to my mother Madeline Eichenlaub and spend time with her. I have always appreciated how she helped my mother and was a comfort to her. One time my mother had had a particularly rough night just before Mary came. After having explained the situation to her she insisted that I join them in receiving communion and praying together even though I am not a practicing Catholic.
