Not sure what to say?

I am pretty sure none of the family knows or remembers me, but I am Everett's daughter. Sadly time and distance kept me from knowing Mary the parent, teacher and grownup. But I remember her being the "best and most fun" aunt a young girl could have. I will always have fond memories of the exciting outings she took us on.

Dear Sheila, Charlie & Family - What an amazing life your mother lived! I felt very privileged to read this testimony about her journeys through challenging times and trying circumstances, courageous overseas travels and the Christmas Tree story (quite apropos for the Season!). Anyone fortunate enough to have called her teacher, mother or friend is far better off for knowing her. Please accept my thoughts and prayers at this difficult time.

I had Mrs. McGrath for Morality class my senior year. She drew a short straw that quarter as this was one of the most rambunctious classes I remember. I know, as I was one of the trouble makers. She would have had every right to yank us all out by our ears and place us in perpetual detention and we would have deserved it. But she was tough. She cornered me one day in the hall and said; "You have great ideas and great thoughts when you speak up in class, and that's why I'm always...

The FTD Comfort Planter

Mrs McGrath was such an inspiring teacher at St.Stephens school. A favorite memory was her telling us to load up a days worth of school work and hiking us down to the Aquinas College campus where she guided us through journal writing, pond study and religion classes. She was so creative and ahead of her time. When I began my work as an outdoor educator I believe it was due to Mrs. McGrath encouragement to "get out there and learn in God's big classroom."
Thanks Mrs. McGrath...and...

She will be missed.

A teacher myself now, I credit Mrs. McGrath and a few other WC educators for inspiring me. They treated me as a person first, student second. Making time to build connections, share wisdom, model kindness and compassion. So glad to have known her. So lucky to have learned about life from her. Bon Voyage!

What a wonderful woman who truly inspired all of us by showing us a deeper understanding of our Faith. She had a gentle spirit and a kind smile that made one feel like they were the most important person in the room. She was a truly an amazing person!

May your Mom rest in peace you all are in my prayers
