Mary Jane and I went to high school together. She had a great sense of humor and made geometry bearable. I am sorry to hear of her passing. My thoughts and prayers are with her friends and family.

MJ was my English Comp instructor my first semester at KU. I went back to school in my 30's, as a single parent, and worried about being "too old". MJ was so supportive and helpful. I enjoyed her class so much and loved her teaching style. I am so sorry to see this obituary in today's paper. Thank you MJ. RIP
