Ms Mehmert was a beloved teacher of mine. Her comedic spirit never ceased to spark laughter within everyone of us. Her authenticity and genuine nature was truly a gift to all that were able to experience such a beautiful soul as Mary. May I hear the laughter at heavens gates from all the angels blessed enough to be her friends.

Miss. Mehmert, a brilliant woman, a woman who's hidden boisterous personallity and dry yet belly hurting humer has us finding smiles on are face more often than with any other class. I always remember her saying " if you get stuck and feel the need to cheat just come up here and I will give you the answer". Ah Mary, my friend......friends since grade school....fellow Norwoodian.....rode the bus together to Summit Day Camp.....learned to swim together at Waterworks.....the great years years at the Mount......playing bridge and pinochle.....Christmas letters.....will never forget you, dear girl! Will miss you always.....rest in the Lords arms.

My friend, Mary, and I were classmates at Mount St. Joseph and celebrated our 50th reunion last summer. What fun we had! I will miss her wit and wisdom.

Mary and I went to SS Peter and Paul School, and Regina High School 2 years apart. We always walked to St. Pete's together. She never forgot my birthday or our anniversary!
She was such an accomplished woman. May she rest in peace in the arms of our Lord!
