Mary E. Melius

I am a graduate of Central Islip High School, and had the privilege of having Mrs. Melius as my Sequential II Algebra teacher. Mrs. Melius was a fine educator, and a true inspiration to me, the students of Central Islip High School, and will be truly missed. I was not a very good math student, and I remember her pulling me aside after class, and told me never to give up, whether it be in school, or in anything. As a 1980 graduate of CIHS, I was fortunate to have Mrs. Melius for 9th grade algebra. She was an excellent teacher and I have always remembered her fondly.
