Dear Ed & Jack

Sorry to hear about your Moms passing. I have such fond memories of her and your dad when we all lived on 4th street.

Ed and Jack,
I am so sorry to hear of your loss. I sent a letter to your mom the other day, hoping to hear from her in her usual kind and caring way. I was blessed to have know your parents as we were growing up around the corner from each other. Our mothers were friends and our dads were both Scout leaders at St Rose of Lima in Newark. I will miss her letters and the memories they helped me revisit. I am happy I was able to see her at Fr. O'Leary's anniversary celebration.

I remember my Aunt Mary and Uncle Ed fondly and kept in touch with through Christmas exchanges annually; I am saddened by her passing. Ed and Mary Middleton were close friends with father and mother and always took a special interest in myself and my brothers; I will never forget them.
