Dear Lea and family, I am so sorry to hear about your mother. I have very fond memories of her, she was such a sweet woman. I remember many times coming to your house to play with my best friend and cousin Lea. I also remember visiting her mother Mary Adair Spence Thompson on Edwards Ave. in her beautiful little white house.
My deepest sympathies and my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.
Sloan Spence Mason

Ray, I don't remember the last time I saw any of your family, but I do remember your mom quite well. My deepest sympathy to you and your loved ones.

A fellow co-worker and friend.

Dear Ray and Midgett family..I am so sad to hear about your mother. I absolutely adored her when I worked with her many years ago..we had so much fun during basketball and football seasons..she loved the Heels and I loved the Wolfpack..she decorated my office in that awful blue during the tournament..she always had that smile and laugh for everyone..that twinkle in her eye..you were so blessed to have had her as your mother..God bless all of you
