You will be missed. You had the spirit and all the encouragement for wide range of Georgetown students to succeed.

I can still see Mary working with students to make choices that would help them to shine. She genuinely cared about them and made each moment count. What a loving and kind person we have lost.

I was so sad to hear this news. Mary cared deeply about the students in her charge and worked so hard to see that they were treated fairly and served well. She will be missed by many.

Mary was one of the kindest, caring and genuine people that I have met in Delaware. She truly loved all of her students!

Mary was a beautiful person who touched many lives. My deepest sympathies to the family.

My heart goes out to Alyssa and Laura in dealing with the loss of their dear Mary from our earthly world! I had the pleasure of knowing Mary for several years while both of us have worked at the Owens Campus of DTCC. We became closer when I discovered that Alyssa and my greatniece, Lizzi, are good friends. Mary was such an inspiring counselor to her many students (and friends), and we will feel her loss. Her wisdom will live on for years to come...

Words cannot express the emptiness that I feel now that Mary is gone. She always knew the right things to say and how to handle difficult situations. She was a true friend and colleague and will be missed. Heaven has gained an angel.
