Mary Sue Mitke

To Mary Sue's daughters, I am terribly sorry to hear of her passing. For over 30 years we had a friendship and a co-teaching relationship. I was so blessed to enjoy daily interaction with her. I watched the three of you grow up, we shared many stories along with laughter and tears of each other's lives. I treasure these memories, she was a truly good woman who was so kind and a perfect teacher. Her heart knew no boundaries when it came to students. May your wonderful memories console you.

I was so saddened today to read of Mary Sue´s passing. She was a person of grace, kindness and intelligence, and it was my privilege to have been a friend and a colleague. The world is a poorer place for her passing.

To Mary Sue´s daughters, grandchildren and all who loved her, Mary Sue was the most wonderful, kind and compassionate gym / health teacher who also served an as integral part of our Student assistance Program at the high school. Her sincere love and empathy was obvious in her notes that remained after she retired. Please know that she helped scores of students during her years at Hanover. She never wished for accolades. Kindness and compassion were an intrinsic part of her. God bless her...
