As the days and weeks pass, and as you return to life's routine, may you continue to feel comforted by the love and support of family and friends. We are so sorry to hear of Mary´s passing.

Such a beautiful obituary commemorating the impact that Mary had on so many lives. Our thoughts and prayers are with you. We will be honoring Mary´s legacy as a teacher & tutor with a donation to the literacy council.

I was so sorry to hear of Mary's passing as she was such a caring and dedicated person. She was a lot of fun to work with at The Reading Center and took a lot of pride and passion as she worked with the kids. Spencerville Schools lost a dedicated teacher. She loved her family dearly and had a great sense of humor as well. I loved hearing her stories and not just the stories...it was the way she told them! Unfortunately I am out of state and will be unable to attend the visitation and funeral....

My deepest sympathy to the entire Modic family. Mary will surely be missed and her loss felt. But, when you carry someone in your heart , they're never very far away. Earth's loss is Heaven's gain. Sending prayers and hugs to my cousin & his family at this difficult time. You're all in my thoughts and prayers .
