Not sure what to say?

We first knew Mary Ellen when my husband and I moved to Arkport. She was 9 years old and lived just down the street. When Mary Ellen became a teenager, she then became our babysitter. And a good one,she was! Our family has been forever grateful for her saving the life of our youngest son. She was babysitting when he got a marble lodged in his throat. She reacted quickly, knew exactly what to do,and the marble popped out! She calmly reported the incident to us later as if it was nothing out of...

I put off till tomorrow what I should have said today,
That I love you as an Aunt in every single way.
Although the miles between us kept us apart,
You will always hold a special place in my heart.
Now I know how many other lives you have touched,
You're wonderful Aunt Mary Ellen, we all love you so much!

Mary Ellen was one of my first and best friends. We started kindergarten together. Luck of the alphabet put us in the same class and our frienship took off. We graduated together. We were each others bridesmaids. Even though Mary Ellen moved away from Arkport, where we grew up, we kept in touch. I can still hear her voice, "hey it's me", when she would call on the phone. We would talk for hours and we never ran out of important things to say to each other. Time has faded most of our...

My sister, my friend

Thank you to all who have remembered Mary Ellen in this Guest Book. She was my sister and my friend. She was a kind and loving person who will be truly missed by all who knew and loved her. Love, Pam

Mary Ellen was a wonderful instructor. I am so grateful she was our instructor! She is so nice, warm, compassionate and caring. My prayers and wishes go out to her family. I am sure she is looking down over all of us. Jenny C.

Our memories of Mary Ellen revolve around family gatherings... holiday dinners, summer days in our cottage at Conesus Lake, Canasta card games, and Monopoly games. We remember her gentle spirit and quiet good humor. We hold our cousin gently in our hearts.

Mary Ellen and the rest of her family were next door neighbors to me and my family when we grew up in Arkport. Mary was a good friend to me and we had such good times growing up with our families. She was too young to leave us but the good Lord got an sweet angel. May she rest in peace with her Mom and Dad. Although I have not seen her in years, I will always remember what a good kind fun and loving person she was.

Ms. Moyer was my teacher at FSCJ during her last semester in Jacksonville. She was wonderfully frank and very willing to go the extra mile for her students. Not many teachers will answer your text messages in the middle of the night! We wished her well on her move to Portland and think fondly of her very often. She was the type of nurse I strive to be.
