Becker Funeral Home, Inc. - Clermont Obituary

On May 18th, 2025, Mary Eileen Cunningham Moyer, beloved wife of the late Bob Moyer, passed away peacefully after a five-year battle with Alzheimer's disease.

Mary was born in Philadelphia, PA. She met her soulmate Bob, also known as her boyfriend, while roller skating. They were married in 1964.

Bob had a successful career with Frigidaire/ White Consolidated Industries for numerous years. Throughout this period, their family resided in various locations such as Meriden, Connecticut, Warrington, PA, Columbus , OH and Augusta, GA. Mary and Bob eventually settled in Florida in 1999 and found their happily ever after in Kings Ridge in 2001

Mary held various jobs, including working at friendly restaurants, as a loan processor at a credit union, and as a hospital unit clerk. Her most loved role was being a homemaker, a wife, a mother, and a grandmother. Mary was a devout Irish Catholic who actively participated in the Catholic community throughout her life, attending Resurrection Catholic Grammar School and St. Hubert's Catholic High School. She went on retreats, belonged to Rosary Prayer groups, and was a member of Woman of Grace. Mary also served as a eucharistic minister at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church.

Mary enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her cherished granddaughters, shopping, lunches with the Red Hats & Pink Ribbon Ladies, going to Disney Parks, golfing, eating hard shell crabs, traveling and more.

She is survived by her daughter, Dottie, sons Bob (Life Partner Wendy Lanford) and Danny, (Life Partner Kristie Bull), granddaughters Mattia and Gigi, sister-in-law Ruth Kelly, nephew Jerry Moyer and Gene Kelly, goddaughter Laura Heraty, and cousins Ann Carlson Dunlevy, Marianne Thompson Smith, Teresa Brown Caterson, Margaret Brown Dornhofer, and Theresa Cunningham McDevitt.
