MULHERIN, Mary Geraldine – Loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother, born in Nimmons, Arkansas on November 16, 1930, passed away September 15, 2017.


 


Funeral service will be held at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, September 20, 2017 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Dr. Herbert Banks officiating.


 


Burial in Great Lakes National Cemetery.


 


Those desiring may make contributions to the Scholarship Fund at the Swartz Creek Masonic Lodge #458 in memory of Johnnie Mulherin.


 


Visitation 3-8 p.m. Tuesday and 10:30 a.m. Wednesday until the time of the service at the funeral home.


 


Married to Johnnie William (Bill)Mulherin from September 27, 1947- May 25, 2007.


 


She is survived by 103 immediate family members;


 


nine children and their spouses, Patricia Lemek,


Johnny(Kathy) Mulherin,


James (Susan) Mulherin,


Dorothy (Duane) Thon,


Michael (Marie) Mulherin,


Sandy (Dave) Greanya,


David Mulherin,


Richard (Jennifer) Mulherin and Timothy (Sherri) Mulherin, all of Michigan.


 


She is also survived by 22 grandchildren and their (11) spouses; 49 great-grandchildren; 5 great-great-grandchildren;


 


two brothers and spouses, Raymond (Ann) Harmon of Tennessee and Danny J. (Sherlie) Harmon of Knob, Arkansas;


 


one sister-in-law and spouse Mary Fay (Doilous) Book of Arkansas;


many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.


 


She was preceded in death by her husband, Johnnie William (Bill) Mulherin; her parents, Ezra and Nettie Harmon; in-laws, Henry (Ida Francis) Mulherin; one brother and his wife, Owen (Louise) Harmon; two sisters and spouses, Geneva (JB) Ward and Wilma Read;


 


one sister-in-law and husband, Earline (Jay) Straugh.
