Not sure what to say?

I recently found out about Mary's death and am devastated by the loss. Though I haven't been in close touch with Mary for years, she was a friend and mentor and a pivotal person in my life and I thought the world of her. I'm sad I didn't get to spend more time with her in the past decade but happy for the time I did get to spend with her. My condolences to her family and friends.

I am so saddened to read of Mary's passing. We met at Brooklyn Friends meeting and she was such a goodhearted and steady presence for me - especially where she brought her kind heart to volunteer at the TOUCH AIDS DINNER we'd started there in 1987. Deepest sympathy to Matt, Ben and Adele on the loss of their mother and father. I remember her wit, her singing and her love for you all. May God bless and guide you during this difficult time. Love, Joanne

It was such a beautiful thing to witness; the love between sisters. My mother could...
