Not sure what to say?

Think about Mary often. This fall when the trees were beautiful I recalled our horseback rides with some students after school.

I'm so sad to hear that she passed on. I think about her often and de idea today to try to look her up to thank her. I had a terribly difficult childhood. She was always so kind and caring towards me and every other student of hers. She kept me after class many times to ask if I was okay and to offer me words of comfort and wisdom. She was an instrumental part of my life. I wish I'd looked her up sooner. A remarkable woman that will be greatly missed. Thank you Ms. Murdock. From the bottom of...

The song "Forever Young" just passed through my mind and I thought about Ms. Murdock as I often do. She was a wonderful teacher who loved her students and had an incredibly positive influence on me during a challenging time of life. I am sorry to hear that she has passed on.

My oldest daughter will be starting 7th grade next year and I can only hope she has a teacher half as dedicated and inspiring. God be with you until we meet again.

Such a great loss for anyone that never had the chance to experience the love and caring and honesty that she showed. I cannot believe that I just found out about her passing. I had the great pleasure of living in the same neighborhood as her. Walking by, she would always have the biggest smile on her face. I also had the privilege of attending her class all 3 years at KJH. MAM was the reason I started writing. The reason I even had the courage to put thought out into the world and onto...

Mary was in our Class of 1963 in St. James, Minnesota.

I knew the Mrs. Murdock had passed but for some reason I felt the need to search for her obituary. She was by far one of my favorite teachers I've ever had. She had such a sweet spirit and always loved her job. She was my 9th grade English teacher 27 years ago and I will never forget how on the last day of school she would always play "Forever Young" by Rod Stewart for her class that moved on to high school. Sure do love this lady! RIP Mrs. Murdock!!

Mary and I were first cousins. Though we had not seen each other since childhood days,
I felt close to her and enjoyed our phone visits. She was an inspiration, and I will miss her very much.

Mary and I were friends for over 40 years, and kept in touch frequently. I will miss her and our conversations about the books that we were reading. God bless your memory.

To Suzanne and Leah-
My heart goes out to the both you. I lost my mother last year and there are no words to describe that feeling. As proud as you are of your mom, I still remember her glowing with pride when talking about both of her daughters. With that said, I hope you find warm comfort in flood of sincere thoughts and memories from those she influenced as a teacher, mentor, and friend. I was lucky to have MAM for 3yrs as an English teacher and the privilege of her mentorship as a...
