Mary M. Murdock

I became friends with Mary in my first job after college, a high turnover Congressional office. We worked together for about four months beginning in December 1974. Both of us went on to other Congressional jobs. Crazy that we kept a friendship going for fifty years that was built on less than four months of seeing each other daily. There were so many reasons why she was known at the Woodlands as Merry Mary. Her jovial laugh, her smile that would brighten any room she entered, her love of humor or a good joke are just a few reasons. If you went to visit her, you would always walk away filled with the joy she shared. We loved Merry Mary here. We really miss her but are comforted knowing she is not in pain and is in Heaven. She is probably sharing a good laugh with someone there too. Miss you, Mary.
