Not sure what to say?

I will always regret that I was never able to capture your life story for my website where stories of your generation are preserved. You were an amazing woman and a role model for us all. It is your independency that I admire so much.

I will never forget you and your WW II service. My only regret is that I was never able to work with you to preserve your story for younger generations. Even though I asked you about doing that, you were too humble to understand how important your story is for history, especially women's history. Daily, I see framed items in my work room that remind me of you and your sister WASPs, especially the poem by Elizabeth MacKethan Magid, "Celestial Flight." Its opening lines read, "She is not...

I met Mary in the late Ninties when an Arabian mare ended up in dire straits while I ran an Arabian rescue. We remained friends long after. RIP My dear friend
Roseann NEmes

Thanks Linda for the recommendation to donate to the rescue, the address for the rescue is http:www.SaveTheAnimalsToday.org rather than .com - the girls are doing fine, Fasada is a sweetie and Edie is a pocket pony! We're hoping to find them sponsors soon - I have been reading the info you brought along about Mary, what an amazing woman!!

I want to add my thanks to not only Mary's neighbor, but to Linda for being so caring about Mary and her horses. I was proud to be a longtime friend of Marys. She was so much fun to visit with both in person and by letters. Because I bred my own Arabians I rarely bought a horse, I bought one from Mary. Wizort was truly a treasure. I know she's riding and when she's not doing that she's flying. All my best!! Sally

I want to thank Mary's neighbor , Debbie and her family for being Mary's guardian angel when she needed it most. She selflessly looked after Mary to the end .
Mary's last 2 Arabian mares were so kindly rescued by Patti Roberts @ Save the Animals Today.com .They are senior horses and will live out the rest of their lives in comfort w/Patti. The economy has been hard on the animal rescues . In honor of Mary please donate to ...

Mary was such a great asset to the arabian horse industry. I have two horses that I purchased from Mary and they are both beautiful, well bred arabians. As a breeder for the arabian horse her knowledge will surely be missed. Rest in peace Mary and ride those lovely arabians.

Mary, hope you are riding in the breeze with the horsey angels! Thank you for all you have done through the years for the Arabian Horse, your efforts will not be forgotten. Rest well, I wish I had known you in person, a truly great woman!
