Mary ''Molly'' O'Neill, nee Mulchrone. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:30 a.m. April 12 at St. Marcelline Church, 820 S. Springinsguth Rd., Schaumburg. Prayers 10:30 a.m. at Ahlgrim & Sons Funeral Home, 330 W. Golf Rd., Schaumburg. Interment All Saints Cemetery, Des Plaines. Born May 13, 1905 in Buckagh, Newport, Co. Mayo, Ireland to Edward and Rose, nee Chambers, Mulchrone. She passed away April 8, 2002 at home in Schaumburg, formerly of Chicago. Mary was the beloved wife of the late Michael J. O'Neill; dearest mother of Margaret ''Peggy'' (Francis) McGovern and the late Catherine Moriarty; mother-in-law of T. Kevin (Judy) Moriarty; cherished grandmother of eight and great-grandmother of eight; devoted sister of the late John (late Margaret) Mulchrone, the late Catherine (late Malcolm) Anderson, the late Charles (Margaret) Mulchrone, Nora (late Charles) Curtin, Thomas (late Nancy) and Rose Ann (late Charles) Murray; fond sister-in-law and aunt of many. Dad always spoke fondly of his sister Molly , who wrote lovely long letters to us also, she came over from the USA to see us once for a visit , a very Happy one for them both, long parted from Buckagh Newport Co Mayo, where my brother and I spent summer holidays with her brother Charles and Grandmother Rose Nee Chambers Mulchrone. I always treasured our trips from Libertyville to Chicago to see Grandpa Mike, Malcolm, Kay and you when I was a boy. I have never eaten so much food in my life during a dinner at your apartment.

You were always so giving and so selfless. I am so happy that Samantha and Teague had a chance to know you. I will always use you as an example as I teach them life’s true values and lessons.
