O'Donnell, Mary (Gingrass) Of Wauwatosa and formerly of Oconomowoc Lake. Passed away peacefully on August 27, 2008, at the age of 85. Preceded in death by her husbands Dr. Rudolph P. Gingrass, Thomas Phillips, and Michael O'Donnell, and her beloved son Dr. Peter Jon. Lovingly survived by her children Dr. Ruedi (Julie) Gingrass, Susan (John) Honkamp, Michael (Kathy) Gingrass, Dr. David (Terry) Gingrass, Mary Beth Westphal, and John (Tessa) Gingrass. Beloved grandmother of Kevin (Stephanie), Christopher, Andrew and Kerry Honkamp, Nick(Katie), Joe (Tracy), Lauren, Jennifer, Peter, Brian and Jamie Gingrass, Stephen, Matthew (Samantha) and Gregory Westphal, Coco, Jack and Drew Gingrass. Proud great-grandma of Payton, Riley, Cade, Tatum and Madison. Mary attended Mount Mary College and was a graduate of the Marquette University School of Nursing. She spent countless hours as a community volunteer. Mary was the president of the St. Jude Altar Society, the 20th Century Topic Club of Wauwatosa, the Marian Club, the Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra League, and the St. Joseph Hospital Auxiliary. She also served as St. Joseph Hospital's gift shop chairman and buyer from 1971-1996. She was a member of the AAUW, The Wisconsin Club, Oconomowoc Lake Club as well as Chenequa, Bluemound and Westmoor country clubs. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 2, at San Camillo Chapel (10200 W. Blue Mound Rd., Wauwatosa), from 9:30AM until the time of Memorial Service, at 11:00AM, followed by a reception at San Camillo. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff members of Camillus Cares, Assisted Living and Skilled Nursing for their loving care of Mary. Memorials in Mary's memory to the Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra (the contributions will be used for the Audrey G. Baird Educational Fund) or the St. Camillus Foundation would be appreciated.
