Mary Dinka Babich O'Brien

Mrs O'Brien, affectionately known to my family as MO'B, was my 7th grade English teacher in Temple City (Los Angeles). She loved, and was loved by, her students. Definitely one of the Top 10 of my school career.

Mary was the sister that I never had. Our parents were all good friends (like family) from childhood in Globe and also immigrants together. We have many beautiful memories for me to keep. Especially two Christmases every year. Mary, you will always be with me in my heart.

Eva, John, and Rod - My sympathy for the loss of your mom. She really was a beautiful person, inside and out. I so enjoyed her as my teacher in junior high and looked forward to seeing her (and Danny) for years after that. Her smile could light up a room.

So sorry for your loss, I worked with Mary at the Post office for 10 years she was a very nice lady, hard working and always dressed very nice, so sorry she suffered with Parkinson's I watched my mom suffer thru that, so may she rest in peace. Tammy Schafbuch
