Sister Euphemia also taught in Berkeley! Mustn't forget that! She was my teacher!

May the Lord keep you safe in his heavenly Kingdom forever. He got an extra special visitor this time

We were so saddened to hear of Sr. Kieran´s passing. I received a beautiful Christmas card from herself and Sr. Euphaemia on December 22nd. I will cherish it forever. We have wonderful memories of Sr. Kieran visiting us, her relatives, here in Ireland. We are thinking of Sr. Euphaemia and all of Sr. Kieran´s relatives and friends. All our love from Ireland, Bridie, Tracy, Richard, Jemma, Richard J, Orla, Lia and Lola Rose. May her beautiful soul rest in peace

Sister Kieran was my 4th grade teacher at St. Patrick School in San Jose (1972-73). She was one of my favorites! She was the one who inspired me to read. We started reading the Little House books in class, my mom bought me the set, and the rest is history. I've never been without a book since... and that's been 50 years!! She never forgot my name, or my brother's who was 2 years behind me. She will be missed!

Sister Kieran was my 4th grade teacher (1974/75) at St. Patrick's in San Jose, CA. What a great teacher and lovely lady! Which is why she was always in my thoughts (even after all these decades), and how great it was to get to see her over the years since then on many occasions whether planned or by chance - with her always remembering me. She will be missed by all of us!

I did not know Sister Mary, but what a beautiful obituary revealing a long life of service to others and the church. Such dedication. Think of all the lives she has touched. Also, quite an impressive family resume revealing a family devoted to God! I´m sure Sister was welcomed to paradise with a multitude of angels announcing Mary´s arrival!
