Mary Ottman, 62 of Newman, CA passed away on  Sunday, August 18, 2013 in Merced, CA.
Mary Ottman was born in Newman, CA and lived in Atwater for 9 years. She worked at Turlock High School as a  Food Service employee for 21 years. She was an avid San Francisco Giants Fan, graduated from Orestimba High School Class of 1969. She enjoyed photography, gardening roses, baking, and sewing. Mary was a Home Interior Decorator and a Member of Celebrating Homes.
Mrs. Ottman is survived by her husband, Joseph Ottman of Atwater; son, Ryan Ottman of Michigan;daughter Heather Anson of San Diego; brothers, Randy Corgiat of Newman; Todd Corgiat of Newman; Joey Corgiat of La Grange; Davey Corgiat of Modesto; sisters, Becky Noakes of Georgia; Tina Dudley of Newman; Sharon Corgiat of Modesto; Susan Lauborough of Gustine and grandson Steven Ottman.
A Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 22, 2013 from 5:00-7:00 pm at Hillview Funeral Chapel in Newman. A Funeral Service will be on Friday, August 23, 2013 at 10:00 am at Hillview Funeral Chapel in Newman. Interment to follow at Hills Ferry Cemetery in Newman.

After our days in food service, I got to see Mary at a few functions and no matter how much time had gone by between our working days to the present she always remembered conversations from our last visit!! She was a great awesome lady and a great coworker and always had warm hugs. She will be missed we all have a Angel looking over us. Thoughts and prayers to her family!!

I worked with Mary in Food Service and I enjoyed our time at work as co workers. I loved how she cared about each and every one of us and our families, she will be missed. We all have another wonderful Angel watching over us. My thoughts and prayers to her family.

Our hearts were saddened to hear of Mary's passing. We will always remember her and your family and the many good times we had together. Know that we are thinking of you as you go through this difficult time.
