We co-taught college courses at Antioch College-West and were both involved with the historic 504 Demonstration in 1977 at the San Francisco Federal Bldg. Mary Jane was my neighbor in Adams Morgan. She was a very warm and kind person I remember riding the elevator with her and her offering me peaches from the farmers market even though she hardly knew me! I am amazed to learn of all her incredible accomplishments. I will miss running into her around the building.
