Pany, Mary P.Mary P. (Pidstawski) Pany, 87, of Northampton passed away peacefully Saturday, April 11, 2015 at Whitehall Manor surrounded by her loving family. Mary and her husband Alois H. Pany would have celebrated 66 years of marriage on June 4th. Born April 17, 1927 in Northampton, she was the daughter of the late Harry and Anastasia (Butrie) Pidstawski. She was a secretary for the former AT&T and Lucent Technologies for 18 years. Mary was a member of Queenship of Mary Church, Northampton. In her spare time, she enjoyed friendly fifties activities, cooking, baking and watching her grandchildren. Survivors: Her husband Alois, daughters, Candace Steffie, of Treichlers, Lois, wife of William Favier, of Hellertown, grandchildren, Jamie Steffie, and his wife Lora, Larissa Favier, Tara Steffie, wife of Michael Karol, Brianne Favier and Garrett Favier, great grandchildren, Connor, Cole and Calysta, sisters, Pauline Takacs, of Northampton and Anna Nickisher, of Allentown. Mary was predeceased by her brother, Nicholas, sisters, Kathryn Wagner and Stella Vas and son-in-law, Joseph Steffie. Services: A Burial Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, April 16th at 10:30 am in the Queenship of Mary Church 1324 Newport Ave. Northampton. Family and friends may call Wednesday, 6 - 8:00pm and Thursday 9 -10:00am in the Reichel Funeral Home 326 E. 21st St. Northampton. Burial will follow in the Our Lady of Hungary Cemetery.
