Mary was a special teacher and friend to me. We shared moments in nature and a Christmas together in her home. She was kind, welcoming and generous with her knowledge and time. I really miss her and admire her commitment to learning and the natural world. I am sorry for our loss and grateful for the time I got to spend with her.
