Not sure what to say?

In the early `80´s a bunch of guys I went to H.S. With were going to UW-Stout. I would travel to Menominee to visit and hang out. Joe and Mary were dating then, she was one of the nicest and easiest to get to know. Eventually I would look forward to my visits just to hang out and party with Mary!

May God bless and rest Mary's most beautiful soul.

Mary had a heart of purest gold; she was the consummate "people-pleaser"....she loved people, and was loved in return. I feel very blessed to have friended her in life.

Mary was truly a special soul. Blessed for meeting her and Joe in college, decades of friendship and camaraderie between the Mint Cafe and the Scott Street Pub. I admired her spirit in ai chi. God bless and rest her most beautiful soul.

At the corner of suburban drive and Amhart we grew up. In Menominee at Stout we practice being adult. I will always remember the smile when I slipped into the mint café unsuspectedly sitting quietly at a table when Mary asked “would you like a cuppa coffee.”She gave me a Free mint ball cap that day. , I still have the hat and I still see the smile.

Mary was special, a legend in the Wausau service industry. She sleeps with angels now, in God's golden hands.

Mary, indeed, made the world a better place. We enjoyed years of going to the Mint not only for the good food, but for the chats and laughs with Mary. She is a person that will never be forgotten. Even after we moved from Wausau, her name and Joe's come into conversation often. We send our hugs and sympathies and prayers across the miles to her family at this truly sad time.

Great sense of humor. I remember her all the way back to when Mary and Joe went to Stout and the parties. Mary was always very welcoming and including everyone, always had a "Schrades!" if I stopped by the Mint. I do recall a News Year Eve, at Kieffer's, when she took pride in absolutely destroying me at Wee Home Run Derby. Mary set a great example, she will be missed.
