MARY'S FUNERAL MASS WAS A BEAUTIFUL TRIBUTE TO A VERY SPECIAL FRIEND WHO RADIATED HAPPINESS WHEREVER SHE WENT.

I remember Mary as a lovely, intelligent, kindly woman who was my third cousin. She was part of what inspired me to become a teacher within my beloved profession of nursing. My husband and I send our love, prayers and deepest sympathy to Mary's surviving family and caregivers.

I had the pleasure of "sparring" with Mary almost daily over the past eight years. Of course she always got the last word in. She was a true delight. Such fond memories of Mary and her niece, Trish enjoying "a splash" on the porch every Friday night in the summer. Their bond was a joy to witness. Mary's kindness and thoughtfulness was on display at every turn. Just days before she passed she "summoned" me to her apartment. After a brief exchange of barbs, Mary presented me with a gift...a...

Mary, Gerry,Fred and I had many happy times together. We were next door neighbors at Bedfordshire and enjoyed many events there with our neighbors.
We were also members of the Red Hat Soc together which was a lot of laughs.
And of course we were faithful and active members of st Michael’s where we were involved in many committees, including Arimathea and Womens Club which she was President of for 2 years.
Arimathea was started because of a visit the Fr Michael had at her home....

Mary will be missed. We had the honor of taking care of Mary for over 15 years. Mary radiated positivity and confidence all her life. She was a life long learner and we will miss her wisdom and insights. She had an impeccable style of dressing and she was always kind. Mary was a joy to take care of and brightened the lives of so many around her. We cannot imagine the loss for Trish Pope her niece was was her constant companion and who was there with her at every appointment and by her side...
