Mary Ann Pizatella The family of Mary Ann Pizatella is sad to announce the passing of their very sweet mother this past week. She died of natural causes in the home that she loved for over 40 years . Mary Ann is survived by her two daughters Brenda Iaquinta and Sharon Iaquinta, grandchildren Joel Blankenship and his wife Rebecca, Anna Blankenship Sonnenberg and her husband James Sonnenberg, and granddaughter, Rachel Marie Keefover,as well as three great grandchildren James Michael Sonnenberg, Leo Sonnenberg and Nina Blankenship. Mary Ann is also survived by her brothers, Richard Pizatella and Tony"Plug" Pizatella and his wife Roseanne Pizatella, and her sister-in-law, Sarah Pizatella. The family also wishes to acknowledge her long-time companion Johnny Urso and special friends Conny Pettit, Butch and Beverly Ferrell, and the Urso family. Mary Ann was preceded in death by her mother, Mary Agnes Pizatella, husband John Iaquinta, beloved cat of 17 years, Pansy; her brothers Louis "Liggs" Pizatella, Eugene"Chug"Pizatella and his wife Catherine, Ben Pizatella and his wife Margaret, Carmen "Jimmy" Pizatella, Frank Pizatella and his wife Helen, her sister Angeline Pizatella Delorenzo and her sister-in-law, Mary Pizatella. Mary Ann worked for many years at the Wishing Well Nursing Home. After her retirement, she enjoyed gardening and dancing at the Moose and Elk Lodges. Brenda and Sharon also want to thank her many neighbors that through the years have been so kind to their mother especially the Rohaly and Mainella families. Following the cremation, a private memorial for family and close friends will take place at her home.
