MARY J. QUIST

I met Mary in the course of selling ad space for her business. I could immediately see she was a very special person who looked at things, not simply as business, but as people working together. She would offer me a diet soda and many times referred me to others who might be interested in working with me. I reciprocated with free food and car wash certificates. Working with Mary was like having a good conversation with an old friend! So refreshing in this dismissive, busy, busy world.

My sister Donna Braser Damon and I will miss Mary. Although our mother's were cousins we didn't get to know each other better until my mother's illness and passing in 2005. I know she shared the same love of antiques/flea markets and garage sales as my mother. She was also very supportive of my sister Donna when she was in Genoa taking care of my mother's estate after her death.

Our sympathy goes out to her family for their loss, way too soon, of this special person.

I am so sorry to hear of Mary's passing. I have lost track of Mary over the years but I graduated with her at G-K. My sincere sympathy to all of her loved ones at this time.
