Mary Lee can be called many things. She was a teacher, a leader, a comforter, a mother, a singer and many other precious hats she wore. Mary Lee was an inspiration to me and my family as we spent 43 years under her and R.D.'s spiritual leadership. They were our church family. R. D. baptized our whole family, my grandsons, and one of my daughter-in-laws. He went to Roanoke VA. Hospital and baptised my father in the whirlpool there. I started Ft Trial in 1953, I think that was RD's and Mary Lee's first year there, so I knew them all my life. They were close to Mom and Dad. RD baptised all of us. I hurt knowing she was ill. May all who read this know just how much I hurt for her children.

Oh My! Mary Lee was one of the sweetest ladies that I have ever met. You will never know the memories I have of her. I have always been one of her "Sunbeams"! Her family is in my heart and prayers. She is finally in heaven with RD. I am sure my mom and dad greeted her with open arms. One more angel received her wings.

In My Pocket
I have memories in my pocket.
They rattle among the change.
My memories of you are treasures I carry wherever I go.
They are stored in bits and pieces, parts of a beautiful whole
They give me comfort when I think I am alone.
Yes, I have memories in my pocket, like so much other stuff I keep there.
But of all the treasures I have, it’s the memories of you that are the most precious.
