I 'took over' Chris's job at the Federal Reserve Board after she retired. She and I spent many months together as she trained me, and ALWAYS had us laughing..her courage, sense of humor and 'telling it like it is' were a joy for all who worked with her.

My sincere condolences to Jim, whom Chris always praised to the hilt, and Chris's family.

Chris, you will be in my prayers often.

They say friendship is a miracle of God -- it is a promise of togetherness for a lifetime. Since I was five and you were six, you've been my miracle. Except ours will last more than your lifetime or mine. 'Til we see each other on the other side.....

I learned of Chris's passing today. While we were not lifelong friends, Chris & I spent 8 years at St. Francis Xavier, before our lives took us down different paths. She was a kind and generous person, and I am glad to have shared part of my journey with her. My condolences to her brothers & sisters, and to her husband, Jim. You are all in my prayers. Chris, rest in peace in the palm of His hand.
