Babcia, There is never a day that goes by where i don't miss you. It still feels like you'll call at 10 pm every night and say Where is everybody. It's so unreal. You were the greatest grandma I could have. You taught me so much. You taught me how to be strong during the toughest times and to never give up. You were always a fighter. Especially for fighting with cancer for more than 12 years. It's going to be hard everytime were at a family party and your not there... or me coming into family...

No matter how much you think you are prepared you are never ready to let go of your mom. You fought to the very end. I know that you were not ready to leave us but God had other plans. You were born on the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary and you passed on the day she appeared to the three children in Fatima. I know she was there to take you to heaven. You always kept this family together and we promise to keep it that way. I know that you will watch over us, I can feel you with me...

Irene,
I will never forget your mom entertaining my son, Dylan, at the baseball field when he was a baby. She would talk to him in Polish, and he would sit in his stroller and just stare at her in fascination. She was a beautiful soul. Dylan is almost 7 now, and my older son no longer plays baseball, but your mom is forever intertwined with my memories of those days. God bless her, and may she rest in peace.

Marysia was a paragon of courage in her heroic fight for survival giving us all an example of unconditional love - may God bless her soul.
