I had the distinct pleasure of being one of your Mother's/Grandmother's students in the 1970's. She was my English teacher both my freshman and junior years at HVHS. Dear Mary and Phil, Your mother was a beautiful sweet lady. She was my best teacher and rolemodel . Her love was felt by many. I will always remember the fun I had working with her on her Town Hall Gallery Show. She was a very bright star.

Oh, dear Miss Ferren, and then Mrs. Remillard. What a wonderful human being. I admired her beauty and her grace as one of her young students at Cheshire Elementary School. I have such fond memories of her. I was so fortunate to have known her. She taught me well.
