Not sure what to say?

John and MaryLou were my very good friends. John and I were pledge brothers in Phi Gamma Delta. My ex-wife and Mary Lou were Kappa Kappa Gamma sisters. I followed John's career over the years as did a number of our fraternity brothers. John and Mary Lou shared dinner with me and my ex-wife in Honolulu a few days before daughter #1 was born. God Bless .

Renner Family: I did not know your dear mother or father personally, but felt drawn to send this message of condolence, since I am native of Tucson, graduated from the University of Arizona and completed Basic Training at Ft. Jackson in 1977. May the happy memories of your parents bring you comfort. God bless.

Dear Family, I remember Mary Lou Doolan as a beautiful upper classman when i was in my freshman year of high school. Her love and caring spirit was evident then. His blessings upon you as walk through this difficult time.

Heather and Renner,
We so loved and enjoyed being with your parents! I always liked hearing your mom's stories not only about both of you and your families but also of Arizona times, Army days and John. He seemed to enjoy them and get as big a laugh out of them as anyone (even when they were about him)! We will miss Mary Lou just as we miss John! She once told me a humorous story (done in her "John voice") where John said "follow me". I have thought of that often in these past few...

I was so saddened to hear of Mary Lou's passing from another CHS friend. May your hearts be comforted in knowing she and her husband are together forever in the LORD.

A beautiful pair gone way too early...knew them both at the U of A when John would enter the ROTC coffee room all beat up from superior performance on the football field and later in the Army. Both of you rest well--you have earned it.

Dear Renner Family, Upon reading your mom's obituary in the morning paper, I believe I remember your parents and at least one of you from Hawaii days (1965). Is this possible? Our paths crossed at some point and I am sorry to hear that you have lost both of your parents. They were obviously outstanding people. Sending healing thoughts to you and all who cared for your mom. My condolence to the Renner extended family. I was proud to know Mary Lou from early days in Tucson as well as her father's and brother's successes on the basketball court and Mary Lou's days at the U of A where John and I were fellow FIJIs.

Mary Lou was a class act beauty in all regards!

Sincerely, Ron Johnson Class of 1961, U of A.
