Not sure what to say?

I will always remember her fluffy skirts, ballet shoes, and her visit to my home. We all still have our handprints we made in plaster of paris for Mother's Day. She really set us on the path for life, and taught entire families! How lucky we were to not only have the best, but to meet those lifelong friends. Not only do I see my two best kindergarten friends, Christine and Ronnie, my sister still hangs out with her best K friends too. Miss Kay should be in the Teacher's Hall of Fame!

I still remember fingerpainting in her class. She kept us in line and taught us much in our first year of school. I also meet my lifetime friends Sallie Caraballo and Christine Flesuras.

So sad to hear of our loss of everyone's favorite kindergarten teacher. I had Miss Kay in 1966 and my Dad was in her first class at Lincoln school (ca 1935?) She was a great teacher because she was a kid herself. She was missed the moment she retired and will continue to be missed.

To the Richards Family:
Miss K was my Kindergarden teacher in 1949 at Woodrow Wilson. I still remember her and her assistant Gerri. My Mother and Father still live in the same house in San Leandro and my Mother had Miss K at Lincoln school when she was 11 or 12 years of age. My Mother remembers Miss K taking them to the park in her car with a rumble seat. We both have fond memories. God Bless her. Jeri Ferreira Rahn and Josephine Ferreira.
