Mary Rose Rodrigues

Mary Rose Rodrigues, 93 formerly of 2055 South Main St Fall River passed on Saturday at Catholic Memorial Home. She was the wife of the late John B. Rodrigues. Born in Fall River she was a daughter of the late Francisco and Tereza (Dias) Martins. Rose retired in 1978 as a sewing machine operator, from the former Arkay Pants and Essex Manufacturing companies. She was a communicant of the former Our Lady of Angels church and held memberships in the former Holy Ghost Portuguese Social Club, Ponta Delgada Ladies Auxillary, and Portuguese Continental Union. She is survived by a daughter Bernadette and son-in-law Ray Miner, sister Mary DaSilva, brother Manuel Martins, 2 grandaughters Jennifer Napert, Lisa Miner and 2 great grandchildren all of fall river and was pre deceased by brothers Joseph and Fernando Martins. Her funeral will be held on Tuesday at 8 am from the Pocasset Memorial Funeral home 462 Main Road Tiverton, RI with Mass of Christian Burial in Good Shepherd Chapel (formerly OLOA Church) 811 Dwelly St at 9:00 AM.
