Mary J. Russo

Mary J. Russo, 89, of 1199 Whitney Ave. Hamden, died July 20, 2009 at St. Raphael's Hospital. She was born in New Haven on Aug. 20, 1919, daughter of the late Eugene & Filomena Stanio Russo. Mary worked as an inspector at the Federal Paper Board Co. She is survived by her life-long friend Faye Fusco of Hamden and several nieces & nephews. Mary was predeceased by brothers Philip, Joseph & Eugene Russo, Jr. and sisters Josephine Gregory, Ceil Hopkins, Evelyn Dillon, Anne Simonetti & Lucille Vagnini Funeral from MARESCA & SONS FUNERAL HOME 592 Chapel St. Thursday at 9:15am Mass of Christian Burial in St. Rita's Church at 10am Entombment in St. Lawerence Mausoleum.
