Mary Donohue Russo, 61, of Cocheco Avenue in Branford died at home February 19, 2010 surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of Fred Russo. Mary was born in Stamford, CT April 10, 1948 to the late Martin and Catherine Byrne Donohue. She was the owner of the Calabash Shoppe in Hamden. Besides her husband Fred, Mary is survived by her daughters Kimberly (Antonio) Conte, Kristen (Antonio) Esperti and Kara (Chris) Halpin; her sister Cathy Weybrew and her loving grandchildren Gianluca and Antonio Conte, Mariella and Antonio Esperti. Please join the Russo family for a celebration of Mary's life on Monday morning at 10 in St. Anthony's Church. Burial will follow the Mass of Christian Burial in St. Agnes Cemetery in Branford. There will be no visiting hours. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Connecticut Hospice 100 Double Beach Rd. Branford, CT 06405 or St. Anthony's Building Fund 25 Gold Street New Haven, CT 06511. The IOVANNE FUNERAL HOME, INC. 11 Wooster Pl is in care of arrangements.
